SK (Certification Centre, legal name AS Sertifitseerimiskeskus) is Estonia's primary and currently the only Certification Service Provider providing certificates for authentication and digital signing to Estonian ID Cards, Mobile ID solutions in Estonia and Lithuania as well as for tachograph cards in Baltic States and Finland.

Besides providing CSP services, SK acts as a competence centre in field of PKI, providing help for the users and service providers. SK has introduced comprehensive digital signature system “DigiDoc” to the market back in 2002 which has turned Estonia to (almost) paperless society with more than 1/3 of adults signing digitally in regular basis.

SK is also handling issues related with international acceptance of foreign eID-s. SK is member of STORK and forthcoming STORK2 project ensuring international interoperability of eID-s across Europe.
